Kastus® CTO speaks at the AMBER Launch event

Kastus® is proudly partnered by Amber (The SFI Research Centre for Advanced Materials and Bio-Engineering Research). Amber is Headquartered at Trinity College Dublin has launched its phase 2 of the centre on June 24th 2019. The Irish government has announced investment of €40 million for phase 2 of the SFI funded research and it is predicted that the money will contribute vastly to the Government’s Future Jobs Strategy. Amber is to create 350 new research positions from 2019-2025 as part of this.


The launch event, held in Trinity’s Science Gallery and was a success, with many noted Irish scientists, academics and thought leaders in attendance. There were many talks from experts in the fields of biotechnology, ICT, medical devices and industrial technology sectors. One of the guest lecturers was Kastus’ Chief Technology Officer, Dr James Kennedy. Leaning on his MBA and MsC in Business Innovation and Research, alongside years working in industry for Mazars Ireland, James gave a riveting lecture on the Art and Science of Pricing for StartUps. James spoke briefly about Kastus and debuted our new brand video as part of his lecture. This was warmly received by the audience.
