This year our CEO and founder, John Browne, was nominated as one of 24 finalists for EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™. He is a finalist in the ‘Emerging’ category. The development programme was designed to promote entrepreneurship across Ireland and empowering entrepreneurs to grow their businesses in Ireland, Northern Ireland and around the world. The 24 nominees span numerous sectors and collectively generate annual revenues of over €1.325bn. An overall winner is due to be announced in November and that overall winner shall represent Ireland at the World Entrepreneur of the Year finals in 2022.
For the last few months, the finalists have received the benefit of engaging in a strategic growth programme which includes a week long CEO retreat this week. They were joined by previous alumni of more than 100 previous finalists and winners and have been meeting a range of famed entrepreneurs, business leaders and academics. With over three quarters of previous attendees ultimately doing business together, the programme has been extremely valuable and engaging learning experience for all.
The very best of luck to all finalists.
